All Wood Floors

Randy and Barbara started All Wood Floors in April of 1989, 9 months after their wedding and three years after Randy returned to California to start working with his brother's hardwood floor business.

All Wood Floors takes pride in their craftsmanship and pays special attention to the details. "Small jobs are our specialty." Although they have plenty of experience in all types of hardwood flooring, which includes the pre-finished forms, they prefer to work with raw wood flooring which is installed, acclimated to your home's temperature and humidity, then sanded, stained and finished on the job site. Additionally, Randy and Barbara do wood working as a hobby and have built most of their own furniture, so custom trim or transitional pieces are also available.

 

In May of 1998, San Jose Mercury News Sunday paper, the "WEST" magazine, asked its readers to vote for the best hardwood floor company in the Santa Clara Valley and All Wood Floors came in first with multiple votes. "Randy Garton, owner of All Wood Floors in San Jose, is especially careful with the old wood floors of Willow Glen homes," writes one home owner, "and when he says he will arrive at 8, you had better be dressed: He is always on time!"

After twelve years of hands-on hardwood floor installing, sanding and finishing, Barbara was promoted to the office and is always on standby to answer any customer questions.
